“Pecado was AWESOME I had been eyeing the location for a while to try since its opening. The ambiance is awesome with low (but not too low) lighting, sugar skulls and just the right tempo of house, reggaeton and even some old skool hits. The Oaxaca Old Fashioned was an amazing drink to start. The fresh guac and queso were our apps and were delish! For entrées, I had the carne asada, and my wife the enchilada. The meals were delicious and decent sized portions! The staff was super attentive and super friendly! A must needed addition to main street in Bay Shore!“

“Even before you get inside the restaurant, you just know it's going to be fancy. When you walk in the classy, upscale vibe just hits you right in the face. You walk down to the hostess, and to the left is some seating with a long bar you can sit around. Behind the hostess is just a beautiful glass casing of a liquor "cellar", and looking past that holds the seating area. “

“Each dish not only artistically plated but delicious and flavorful.

My favorites were the ceviche, the pescado, cochinita, and the birria. Dessert went home to my daughter, who is a tres leches aficionado who said that it was "valid" (meaning of a really high standard).

Speaking of the décor and ambiance, I can really appreciate the thought put into serving drinks in proper classic barware, and food on a collection of unique dishes.”

“Small, intimate place with great food and an especially helpful staff.

The guac was just the way I like it, a bit spicy but not overpowering. The street corn was delicious. All the entrees were very well done. The Mahi Mahi was extra special. We ended with a "Tres Leches" cake that was perfect, not to sweet! Definitely worth a return visit”

“There's not much more to say than what others have said other than that it's very evident that so much care and love went into creating this space and offering up authentic food packed with flavor.

My favorites for the night were the street corn appetizer, the ceviche and the coconut tres leches cake.

Top notch. And yes, I did drink the Leche de Tigre. It was limey and delicious. The street corn was beautifully presented and had just the right amount of heat. And the piece de resistance, the dessert was beautiful and so delicious.”
